FAQs

What happens at an initial assessment?

We give all new patients an initial assessment to understand the problem you’re having and to complete some simple testing to better diagnose the cause. We’ll also discuss your goals and make a plan to get you back on your feet.

Can you fix my rounded shoulders?

We can provide exercise and treatment for this but often it is not linked to recovery of a shoulder issue and is more related to aesthetics

Do I need an injection before starting treatment?

The majority of shoulder cases don’t require any injection and respond to exercise and treatment

Will rest help my shoulder get better?

Often rest will not help, shoulder injuries normally require some exercise to help them recover, and rest alone will not fix the issue in most cases

If I need scans, can you take care of that?

Yes, if scans are required we can get you sorted straight away. We can also work with scans carried out by the NHS

“I went to Elevate Health Clinic with a persistent shoulder injury. I do a range of sports and the injury was affecting every activity. Jon was quick to understand the problem and give me simple exercises to not only treat the injury but prevent it coming back. I was back to full ability, pain-free, within a couple of weeks”
