FAQs
What happens at an initial assessment?
We give all new patients an initial assessment to understand the problem you’re having and to complete some simple testing to better diagnose the cause. We’ll also discuss your goals and make a plan to get you back on your feet.
My pain has been stopping me doing things I need to do. Can it be treated?
The majority of knee, foot and ankle pain can be completely treated or improved by careful assessment and targeted exercise. In these cases you should be back on your feet in about 3 months
Do I need to see a podiatrist?
Sometimes, although generally only for extreme cases. We will explore this option with you if required
If I need scans, can you take care of that?
Yes, if scans are required we can get you sorted straight away. We can also work with scans carried out by the NHS
“Amazing! Recently had a knee injury which Dr Jon was able to accurately diagnose and provide a recovery program for, all in one session. He has the knowledge to be able to describe the injury to me in a way I understood and is extremely professional and friendly. Follow up sessions have allowed us to view progress and adapt the program to help strengthen my knee further. Very grateful”
